A Winnipeg pest control company that shows its work
APC Exterminators is an independently owned, licensed and insured pest control operator based on Main Street in Winnipeg, serving homes and businesses across Manitoba.
No franchise, no call centre. The person who answers the phone knows the technician who will arrive.
What we actually do
We treat pests in Winnipeg homes and businesses. That is the whole business. We are not a franchise, we do not route calls to a national centre, and we do not sell contracts that are difficult to leave.
What distinguishes the work is the order we do it in. Every job starts with an inspection, because the pest you can see is rarely the whole problem — the entry point, the moisture source and the harbourage are what determine whether the treatment holds. A technician who treats without inspecting is selling you a return visit.
Fixed pricing, quoted up front
Where a treatment has a published price range, that is the range you pay within. Where the price depends on the property, we inspect and give you a fixed number before any work starts. Nothing is added afterwards, and there is no charge for the quote.
This is not generosity. Pricing that changes after the technician is already in your basement is the single most common complaint about this industry, and it is entirely avoidable.
We publish our research
Under Insights we publish long-form work on pest management science, the economics of infestation, housing policy and the ethics of the trade. Some of it argues against our own commercial interest — that prevention beats reaction, that some infestations are a housing-policy failure rather than a consumer problem.
We publish it anyway, because an industry whose revenue depends on problems recurring should be willing to say so out loud.
Licensing and products
All applicators are licensed under Manitoba requirements and carry current certification. Every product used is registered with Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency, and we will tell you exactly what was applied, where, and what the re-entry interval is — before we apply it, not after.
Commercial documentation
Commercial clients receive HACCP-compliant service reports with a numbered device map, findings, applications and corrective actions tracked to close-out. The documentation is built to survive an unannounced audit, because that is when it gets tested.
Where we work
Winnipeg and surrounding Manitoba, from our premises at #3 – 1364 Main Street. Same-day availability for urgent work, particularly wasp nests near entrances and rodent activity in food premises.
