Integrated Pest Management
IPM is not a product. It is a documented process that puts inspection, exclusion and monitoring ahead of chemical application — which is what makes it defensible in an audit and cheaper over time.

The process
Six steps, in this order
The order matters. Treating before inspecting is how a pest program becomes a recurring cost with no end date.
- 01InspectA full survey of the building: entry points, harbourage, moisture, sanitation and the conditions that make the site attractive in the first place.
- 02IdentifyCorrect species identification, because the treatment for pharaoh ants is the opposite of the treatment for most other ants. Getting this wrong makes problems worse.
- 03Set thresholdsAn agreed action threshold per pest and per zone, so response is triggered by data rather than by whoever happened to notice something.
- 04Exclude and correctPhysical exclusion, sanitation and structural correction first. Every entry point sealed is a treatment you never have to pay for again.
- 05Treat, targetedWhere product is required, it goes into harbourage and voids — never broadcast across open areas, and never on food-contact surfaces.
- 06Monitor and documentNumbered devices on a mapped schedule, with findings trended over time and corrective actions tracked to close-out.
